Terms of Use

Tech Mentor Urdu

Status: Draft for review — not ready for publication
Effective date: [Insert adoption date]

Editorial note — remove before publication: This draft incorporates your confirmed vendor verification, product ownership, customer escalation, suspension, and payout-hold rules. Contracting-party disclosures, licence terms, fees, payout schedules, enforcement procedures, governing law, and courts remain unconfirmed. Other general clauses below are proposed terms for review, not a description of verified platform capabilities. Your preference is not to impose a minimum age; the legal capacity, consent, privacy, and safeguarding implications of allowing children require specific legal review. Do not publish this draft until these matters and all bracketed notes are resolved.

1. Who We Are

Tech Mentor Urdu is a multi-vendor marketplace for digital downloadable products, operated by Tech Mentor Urdu LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

Company address:
2nd Floor College House
17 King Edwards Road
Ruislip, London
United Kingdom
HA4 7AE

Contact: support@techmentorurdu.com

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the marketplace. They explain the responsibilities of customers, vendors, and the platform, including how product concerns and breaches of marketplace rules are handled.

[Confirm covered website domains, company registration number where required for company disclosures, and any additional legally required business information.]

2. Agreement and Related Policies

Users must have an appropriate opportunity to read the applicable terms before entering into an agreement. Terms concerning purchases, vendor participation, or payment deductions must be brought to the relevant party's attention at the appropriate stage; merely publishing them on a page may not be sufficient.

The Refund Policy, relevant product licence, and any separate Vendor Terms should be considered alongside these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains personal-information practices and is not a waiver of data protection rights.

[Confirm the acceptance process, the versions presented at registration and checkout, the order of priority between documents, and links to completed policies.]

Nothing in these Terms excludes or reduces rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a contractual provision conflicts with a mandatory legal protection, that protection takes priority.

3. The Marketplace and the Purchase Contract

Vendors offer digital downloadable products through Tech Mentor Urdu. Vendors are responsible for their product listings, ownership claims, and the product-related responsibilities described in these Terms.

[Confirm before publication: whether each purchase contract is between the customer and vendor or between the customer and Tech Mentor Urdu LTD; identify the seller at checkout and explain the platform's payment and fulfilment role.]

The platform's multi-vendor structure does not mean that customers are left without assistance when a vendor fails to respond. Tech Mentor Urdu LTD takes responsibility for intervening in unresolved purchased-product concerns as described in Section 9. The precise statutory and contractual obligations of each party must also reflect the purchase contract and applicable law.

4. Age and Legal Capacity

The platform does not set a fixed minimum age solely as a marketplace preference. This does not override legal requirements concerning contractual capacity, parental or guardian involvement, payment authorisation, data protection, or access to particular products.

An individual's ability to visit the website is not necessarily the same as their legal ability to enter a purchase contract or operate a vendor business.

[Before publication, obtain legal advice on whether and how children may register, purchase, and participate as vendors in the countries served. Specify any legally required guardian process and verify that the platform can operate it. Do not assume that collecting identity documents makes a minor's contract enforceable or satisfies child-data requirements.]

Vendor verification requirements apply to vendor applications, but document submission alone does not displace legal capacity requirements.

5. Customer Accounts

Customers register using their first name, last name, email address, and password.

Proposed account obligations for confirmation:

  • Provide accurate account information and keep relevant details current;
  • Protect account credentials and do not disclose passwords to vendors or support staff;
  • Do not impersonate another person or use another person's payment method without proper authority;
  • Notify support of suspected account misuse; and
  • Use the marketplace lawfully and in accordance with the applicable agreement.

Responsibility for unauthorised activity must be assessed under the facts and applicable law. These Terms do not make an account holder automatically liable for every action performed through a compromised account.

[Confirm account recovery, account closure, and customer-account restriction procedures before including operational promises.]

6. Vendor Verification and Approval

A vendor account will not be approved unless all verification documents requested for that application have been supplied. Documents may include a passport, national identity document, proof of address, or selfie, as applicable.

Submitting the requested documents is a necessary approval requirement, not a guarantee of approval or a certification that every product offered by that vendor is lawful or suitable.

Vendors must not provide forged documents, impersonate another person, or make false identity or ownership claims. These actions are inconsistent with the marketplace's prohibition on fraud.

[Confirm the application-review process, treatment of incomplete or rejected applications, whether updated verification may be requested, and available review procedures.]

Verification information must be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and the completed Privacy Policy. These Terms do not authorise unnecessary collection, unrestricted disclosure, or indefinite retention of identity documents.

7. Product Ownership and Prohibited Products

Vendors must own the products they list and have the rights needed to offer them lawfully. Selling another person's product as the vendor's own, copying and republishing a third party's product, and selling unauthorised or infringing copies are not allowed.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Copyright infringement or unauthorised copying and redistribution;
  • False claims of product ownership or authorship;
  • Selling third-party products the vendor does not own;
  • Supplying malware or malicious content; and
  • Fraud, including intentionally misleading customers or taking payment without providing what was promised.

Owning an original product does not automatically grant rights to every third-party asset, library, font, image, or other element incorporated into it. Vendors must ensure that incorporated material is used and distributed lawfully and that required notices or licence conditions are respected.

[Confirm whether any exceptions exist for authorised resellers, jointly owned products, or products incorporating lawfully licensed components. The confirmed rule does not permit unauthorised third-party resale.]

Reports of suspected infringement or fraud should be sent to support@techmentorurdu.com, identifying the product and explaining the concern with relevant evidence. A report should be assessed rather than automatically treated as proof of wrongdoing.

[Confirm the notice, review, counter-response, and removal process and align it with any separate Copyright Policy.]

8. Product Descriptions and Licences

Proposed listing requirements for confirmation: Product listings should accurately describe what is supplied, material features and limitations, technical requirements, compatibility, included files, and any promised support or updates. A vendor should not advertise functionality, access, or assistance that it cannot provide.

Buying downloadable content does not necessarily transfer the copyright or other ownership rights in the product. The customer's permitted use depends on the licence presented and agreed at purchase, subject to applicable law.

[Confirm before publication: personal and commercial use, project or installation limits, redistribution and resale rights, client use, attribution, updates, licence duration, and consequences of a refund. Identify whether licences are platform-standard or product-specific.]

No unconfirmed “one project,” “lifetime,” “commercial use,” or “no resale” restriction is created by this draft. The final terms must clearly state the actual licence rather than leaving customers to infer it after purchase.

9. Customer Assistance and Platform Intervention

Customers experiencing a problem with a purchased product should explain the concern and provide available purchase details so the relevant product and vendor can be identified.

If the vendor does not address the customer's concern, Tech Mentor Urdu LTD will take responsibility for intervening. Depending on the issue, this may involve requiring the vendor to resolve the problem or recovering the relevant payment from the vendor to address an appropriate customer remedy.

This intervention commitment is not a promise of an automatic refund for every complaint. The outcome must reflect the evidence, the purchase agreement, the completed Refund Policy, and applicable law. It does not reduce any statutory remedy to which the customer is entitled.

Requests and unresolved concerns can be sent to support@techmentorurdu.com. Include the order reference, product name or ID, a description of the issue, and any relevant vendor correspondence where available.

[Confirm the escalation stages, response and resolution periods, responsible decision-maker, and contractual mechanism for recovering funds from vendors. Do not promise direct bank debits or unlimited recovery without a lawful and agreed mechanism.]

10. Prices, Payments, Fees, and Payouts

[Complete before publication: pricing currency, applicable taxes, payment providers, checkout charges, vendor commission or fees, payout eligibility and schedule, payment verification, and treatment of failed or disputed payments.]

Customers should be informed of the total payable amount and applicable purchase conditions before committing to a purchase. Vendors should be informed of the fees, deductions, and payout conditions that apply before accepting the vendor agreement.

This draft does not establish a commission rate, payout schedule, settlement period, or authority to impose an undisclosed charge.

11. Refunds

Refund requests should be sent to support@techmentorurdu.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refund eligibility, assessment, and timing must follow the completed Refund Policy and applicable mandatory law. Downloading digital content does not automatically eliminate rights concerning defective or misdescribed content.

[Complete the Refund Policy before publication and resolve any inconsistent wording between that policy, these Terms, product listings, and checkout.]

12. Vendor Suspension and Payout Holds

Vendors who breach marketplace terms or repeatedly defraud customers are subject to account suspension and withheld payouts while relevant concerns and liabilities are addressed.

A payout hold is not a statement that the platform owns all vendor earnings or can confiscate them permanently without a lawful basis. Recovery, deduction, continued withholding, and release must comply with the applicable vendor agreement, evidence, and law.

**[Before publication, specify:]

  • The grounds and evidence needed for suspension or a payout hold;
  • Whether urgent temporary action may be taken and how it is reviewed;
  • How the vendor is informed, subject to lawful limits on disclosure;
  • The scope of held funds and treatment of amounts unrelated to the dispute;
  • Review periods, an opportunity to respond, and any appeal process;
  • How proven refund liabilities and other authorised deductions are calculated; and
  • When remaining funds are released and what happens to existing customer purchases.

These procedures must be proportionate and should not describe an accusation alone as conclusive proof of fraud. A suspension does not remove existing customer rights or permit the platform to ignore unresolved purchases.

13. Lawful Use of the Platform

Proposed general-use restrictions for confirmation: Users must not unlawfully access accounts or systems, deliberately disrupt the marketplace, submit malicious files, or manipulate transactions through deceptive activity.

Any broader restrictions on automated access, account sharing, harassment, external transactions, or prohibited product categories must be explicitly reviewed and confirmed before inclusion. This draft does not silently add such rules to the marketplace.

14. Privacy and Communications

Personal information is handled according to the completed Privacy Policy and applicable law. Vendor verification and dispute handling do not justify unrestricted access to customer or vendor information.

Service communications about accounts, purchases, or disputes should be distinguished from optional promotional communications. These Terms do not create blanket consent for marketing or AI training.

15. Responsibility and Liability

Vendors remain responsible for their own fraud, infringing products, and obligations under the applicable product contract. Tech Mentor Urdu LTD remains responsible for its own legal obligations and the platform-intervention commitment described above.

These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and, where relevant, death or personal injury caused by negligence. They do not disclaim all responsibility merely because a product is supplied by a vendor.

[Any proposed liability cap, business-customer exclusion, indemnity, or limitation for third-party services requires separate confirmation and legal review. No monetary cap or unlimited vendor indemnity has been supplied.]

16. Changes to Services and Terms

[Confirm the actual policy for changes to products, marketplace services, and agreements, including notice and any applicable customer or vendor options.]

Revised terms should not be used to retrospectively remove mandatory rights or agreed commitments relating to earlier purchases. Material changes must be communicated and agreed where required by law or the applicable contract; continued use should not automatically be treated as sufficient agreement in every circumstance.

17. Complaints, Governing Law, and Courts

Complaints and requests for escalation can be sent to support@techmentorurdu.com.

Governing law: [To be confirmed.]
Court jurisdiction: [To be confirmed.]
Alternative dispute-resolution arrangements, if applicable: [To be confirmed.]

UK company registration does not by itself establish the agreed governing law or exclusive court jurisdiction. Any final clause must preserve mandatory consumer protections and applicable rights to bring proceedings in a competent court.
